Demos Issue 9: Tax revenue allocation
Collected tax revenue is currently disbursed as shown in the pie chart. The size of the slices show what portion each of 4 major areas of government receives. You vote by repeatedly selecting each pie slice until it is the desired color: green to increase the portion of revenue received, yellow to keep it as is, and red to decrease it. If any slice is green, then at least one slice must be red. If any slice is red, then at least one slice must be green. Demo Note

The percentage of revenue currently disbursed to each of the 4 major areas of government:

• 1 Health care = 26 percent
• 2 Other Entitlements = 13 percent
• 3 Military = 24 percent
• 4 Remainder of government = 37 percent
